About Me

Hi!  Thank you so much for checking out my page and for wanting to know a little bit more about me!

I've been married to my hubby for over 5 years.  I've known him since I was 15!  I'm a mommy to two beautiful (and nutty) little boys.  My oldest is 4 1/2 and my youngest just turned 2.  I currently work in an elementary school as a Reading Tutor for grades K-5.  I've done this for several years now.  I've also been a Building Sub, Math Tutor, Math Para, and Substitute.  I've been trying for many years to get my own classroom but my state is a really tough place to find an elementary teaching position!  I consider it a blessing in disguise though.  It's allowing me more time with my boys.  Although I work every day for a good part of the day, I'm lucky enough to not have that stress classroom teachers have.  Don't get me wrong, I have my fair share of stress lol.

I love my family dearly.  I'm very close to them, especially my parents.  I don't know what I would do without them.  My mother watches the boys every day.  She is amazing!  I also love watching my father with the boys!

I have loved creating things on the computer since I was 14.  I had my own Backstreet Boy website for years!  Since college, I've channeled that into creating things for the classroom.  I'm loving it!

Here are a few fun, random things about me!  I worked 5 summers in a row as a Children's Library Assistant.  I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dance!  I have taken and taught dance for several years.  I stopped after my first was born and need to get back into it!  My other passions are reading, anything Disney, and Broadway shows!
